In 1999, Jim Whittaker, was in store 1 signing his new book, “A Life on the Edge”. On my lunch hour I went to get a copy. In line just ahead of me was, Blake Nordstrom. When he got to the front of the line Jim looked up and said to all around, “Can you imagine? The President of the company standing in line, in his own store?!!”
