I’ve been thinking about something to say since I head the news and I can’t find only one single story or interaction that sticks out. So I will say this. Every interaction, conversation, or speech I was present for with Blake made an impact on me. Whether it was how I looked at business, how I looked at my own position, or how I thought of our customers (even those that weren’t our real customers – since that was the basis for many of my conversations with Blake), all was impactful.
Although I didn’t speak with him everyday, week, or month – those times that I new I was going to, I knew I would learn something and be supported for the outcome.
Blake will be missed, indeed – by all Divisions of Nordstrom!
