A more perfect expression for my tenure and experience at Nordstrom could not be expressed than by Blake’s words, “Our business is about people. It’s about relationships and trust. It’s about simple acts of kindness.”
The colleagues I’ve maintained close relationships with for nearly two decades, and the customers I’ve connected with on and off the selling floor are all evidence of this truth.
Blake remains a sublime leader. He has and will continue to inspire so many people to realize his words.
I want his family to know the presence he had in my life and so many peoples’ lives.
I encourage all of us who heard and knew Blake to keep his message a part of the Nordstrom employee and customer experience.
