While I did not know Blake on a personal level, I have been in his presence quite a few times, usually in the elevators. We all know what a great business man he was, but to have that combined with a warm and friendly personality is almost unheard of. Every single time I saw him, he had a smile on his face, and was laughing and chatting it up with everyone around him like they were old friends, whether he knew them for years or just in that moment. Just being in his presence was such an honor. It is so unfortunate to lose someone so well respected and admired, as people like that are hard to come by. I’m so sorry for your loss, Nordstrom Family, and may he rest easy.
