I’ve always felt a great amount of thankfulness towards Blake as working at Nordstrom has changed my life in so many ways. When I applied at Nordstrom I never imagined I would be building a career as a leader. While Blake is not the only Nordstrom in leadership, he has been the leader I have admired. In meetings or videos I appreciated how candid and personable he was. When he visited the office, he was open and kind to everyone who approached him. He took pictures with the teams even when he was sick with a cold. As a leader I have learned so much from his passion for his people and his customers. His passing has left us with heavy hearts and I wish all the comfort possible to his family.
