I first met Blake in 1985 when I was a salesperson at SeaTac Place Two in Federal Way, Washington. Blake was my regional merchandise manager/buyer. Blake was a Fantastic Teacher and always supportive of my career. Blake would often check in with me as I would take on new roles. As well, as a store manager, he was incredibly generous with his time/knowledge when he visited stores I was lucky to support. Blake was always teaching and I’m grateful for those teaching moments. I feel so blessed to work for Nordstrom and even more blessed to have known Blake. Rest in peace Blake. To Blake’s family, my most sincere sympathy for the loss of your brother, your son, your husband and your father.
