I was truly saddened to hear of Blake’s passing – it came as such a shock. I felt after the recent news of his diagnosis that he was so optimistic and was absolutely going to beat his cancer. Hearing of his passing was just heartbreaking. Sadly I never got to meet him, and I can’t say I wasn’t jealous of my friends who did. I have heard nothing but good things about him and continue to do so. Being with Nordstrom your coworkers become your family, and I know how impacting he was to all of us. Being on the Social Media team shows me how much he touched everyone around him, whether it be a customer or employee a friend or just a passing encounter. He touched so many and will be truly missed.
