I have worked for the company since I was in my teens. My dad brought me in back in the 90s. I figured I’d give another employer a try and took another job. To that point, I had worked for Nordy for 9 years. In that time Blake and I had formed a relationship. One day on my new job I saw that a voicemail was left. It was Blake telling me he was sorry to have heard that I was gone, however he encouraged me in my new endeavor an congratulated me. That blew me away. An important busy guy like him made time for little old me! That is a large part of why as I type this I am at my old (Nordy) job! I came back home, to Nordstrom to work. Thanks Mr. Blake.
